How to Apply
To apply for temporary employment possibilities you must use the on-line application system. On the page ‘current temporary vacancies’, you can consult the profiles sought and then click on the “Apply” button next to the one that interests you. You will then have to fill in an on-line application and submit it before the deadline (midnight French time). If you have applied on-line for temporary work on a previous occasion, your application will be in our database so there is no need to re-apply for new vacancies. You can withdraw your application at any time. In order to verify your continued interest in working with the Organisation, you will be required to reply to an automated e-mail which will be sent to the e-mail address on record every three months. The action of replying to this automated e-mail will keep your application active in our system.
All applications must be made on-line using this system, apart from in exceptional and justified circumstances (in this case, please contact us before the deadline by sending an email to temprec@coe.int). The Council of Europe will not accept applications sent by post, fax or e-mail.
Before beginning the application process, you will need to have an e-mail address in order to set up a user account. Once you have registered you can then proceed with the application and you will receive confirmation by e-mail of your user account details.
All applications must be completed in either English or French. Applications completed in other languages will not be taken into consideration. You do not need to enter all information in one session. You can save your details at any point and return to complete the application at a later time by logging on to your user account and clicking on “Submit my application” before the deadline (midnight French time).
