Under the authority of the Executive Secretary of GRECO, the seconded official will contribute to the planning and implementation of evaluation and compliance procedures, in accordance with GRECO’s Statute and Rules of Procedure as well as Council of Europe values.
Under the authority of the Executive Secretary of GRECO, the seconded official performs the following key duties:
- participates in the evaluation of countries and conducts on-site discussions with a broad range of governmental and non-governmental interlocutors;
- analyses the replies to GRECO evaluation questionnaires and examines relevant international legal instruments and national legislations;
- provides support to evaluation teams;
- assists the GRECO Secretariat in conducting evaluation visits, draws up draft evaluation reports and assists GRECO during report adoption procedures;
- contributes to GRECO’s compliance procedure, in particular drawing up and updating of compliance reports and assists rapporteurs and GRECO during the adoption procedure of compliance reports, addenda and other follow-up thereto;
- prepares information documents, summaries and studies, in particular for the attention of evaluation teams, GRECO and the Executive Secretary;
- contributes to the visibility of the GRECO process internally and externally and ensures appropriate information to those concerned;
- contributes actively to the performance of other specific tasks of the Secretariat.

Qualifications:
University degree in law.
Experience:
At least 3 years of professional experience in the legal field, including anti-corruption issues.
Language requirements:
Very good knowledge of one of the official languages (English or French) and good knowledge of the other. Knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage.
Nationality:
Nationality of one of the 47 Council of Europe member states or of the non-member States parties to the Enlarged Agreement on the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO).
